I must be out of this mind to wait for more than an hour for this. What can I say, I can't help it, I'm a tourist in Melaka and this is a famous restaurant serving satay celup. I left myself no choice but try it! So I did it, and it tasted delicious. It is a cross between Lok Lok and Satay. It does not have Satay like we normally do, but its Lok Lok varieties such as quail's egg, vegetable, cuttlefish, prawn, meatballs and fishballs, and even scallopis to be dipped into this hot-boiling-thick-nutty gravy as you can see here.
The server comes to the table a few times to add more gravy and stirs for us now and then. It is thick like Satay sauce but it has its unique taste which is why people are lining up hours for it.
