Original Thai Beef Koay Teow at Suncity, Penang

The word 'Original' is written before Thai Beef Koay Teow, so how authentic was it for me? I would say it was authentic enough for me to say that it was as if I'm there in Thailand eating it. And another plus point added to originality, is that the ones cooking this were Thai ladies.

The beef was perfectly tender and the soup is so tasty I drank all of it. By the way, I'm not the type to drink the soup in my mee bowl but I could not resist this. It's like herbal soup but much tastier. They served us with this four cups consisting of nuts, two types of chili and sugar. I suppose they leave us to spice up the noodles however we want but I would not understand if anyone would decide to put sugar to it. It is totally unnecessary in my humble opinion. :)

This stall is inside the Sun City Cafe at Prima Tanjung, Fettes Park.  As you can see in the picture, they sell other thai food dishes as well and it will definitely be my next try.

Floating Market Delicacies in Haatyai, Thailand

My first time to the floating market in Haatyai is a weird tongue tasting one. If you have problems with bugs, please avoid further scrolling or a speedy scroll might help as the pictures gets more pleasant later in the post. Love the scenery as I walked through the dry market till the floating market area. I thought I was heading to a big boat with a market installed within but in reality, there were just floating 'sampan' in one long stretch while the marketers stands by the bridge/pathway to buy from the sellers. And the only way for the marketers to receive their foodies is delivered by a wooden spoon-like stick then we placed the money in order to pay them.

Their technology of fanning away the flies.
The sight is divine
This is how we get our food. Thanks Sung Yean for the yummy treats!
So delicious, I could eat two packets
Coconut water served in clay cups and you can take them back as souvenirs.
Mini  delicious eggs.
Colourful sushis

Sweet Potatoes
Tapioca
There will be more write ups about Haatyai food/travel later. Stay tuned!

Boston, Klang

Want a trip to Boston? It is right at the heart of Klang , Selangor. It is a chinese food restaurant with many varieties. Thanks to Jocelyn for the midnight treat, the food was delicious. After learning more about this place, my advice to you is to go early when it opens or call in to order first. The stretch of customers waiting can be rather long. The locals love it and Jocelyn has been coming here with family and friends for many years.
This was taken while we were waiting, part of our conversation?
She was drunk with tea?? Nah, she was just being funny, hah! But she was probably drunk with fatigue, its been a long day at work and she was really nice to take us out for supper.
La La
The lala dish is so appetizing, I ate quite abit to my surprise as I thought I was quite full from dinner. When there is good food, somehow a space is created in the tummy just for it. This is a place not to miss if you are in Klang.

In Penang hokkien mee looks red and soupy but not in Klang, hokkien mee is black from the sauce. Nevertheless, it was one of the best dish of the night. I have tasted Hokkien mee in another place in Klang but there is no match to this. Boston Hokkien mee won hands down.
