Coffee Ink at Bukit Tinggi, Klang

Coffee Ink is the new kid on the block situated at Bukit Tinggi, Klang. As the name suggest, it is a combination of coffee and art. Run by the locals of Klang, the business has been thronged by many since the opening on August 31st, 2013.

Zabedee, one of the co-owners has the talent of the ink and that's him with his artistic piece at floor of the entrance.

A quaint, artistic cafe filled with aromas of coffee attracts people of all walks, I noticed as we walked in. There are quite a variety of cakes/mille crepes and cookies as well to complement your choice of coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Availability of free wifi for all who cant live without their gadgets, a comfortable corner for those who wants to read, and for those with an eye for art can enjoy the beauty of paintings and drawings all around.

Now all about coffee, I had Mocha and it suits me fine, not too bitter, not too sweet. I tried my friends' Latte, Chai latte and The Belgium. The Belgium was outstanding, and as I tried to recall the next best hot chocolate I had before in other cafes, none was comparable, all forgettable. This is Yum!

I'm just having a feel of reading without my gadget.

Boston, Klang

Want a trip to Boston? It is right at the heart of Klang , Selangor. It is a chinese food restaurant with many varieties. Thanks to Jocelyn for the midnight treat, the food was delicious. After learning more about this place, my advice to you is to go early when it opens or call in to order first. The stretch of customers waiting can be rather long. The locals love it and Jocelyn has been coming here with family and friends for many years.
This was taken while we were waiting, part of our conversation?
She was drunk with tea?? Nah, she was just being funny, hah! But she was probably drunk with fatigue, its been a long day at work and she was really nice to take us out for supper.
La La
The lala dish is so appetizing, I ate quite abit to my surprise as I thought I was quite full from dinner. When there is good food, somehow a space is created in the tummy just for it. This is a place not to miss if you are in Klang.

In Penang hokkien mee looks red and soupy but not in Klang, hokkien mee is black from the sauce. Nevertheless, it was one of the best dish of the night. I have tasted Hokkien mee in another place in Klang but there is no match to this. Boston Hokkien mee won hands down.

Bak Kut Teh Yap Eng, Klang

Klang has always been known for its bak kut teh and honestly none have disappoint based on the few restaurants I have dine in. The latest bak kut teh I have tasted was fantastic. We were taken to this called Restaurant Bak Kut Teh Yap Eng and it is situated in this address:
2-42 Jalan Bendahara 20b
Jalan Taman Sentosa Utama
Klang, Selangor 41200

Packed but we manage to find one.
The usual soupy bak kut teh is tasty and I like the soft meat which they called it 'sui kut'. And there is this dish that came with dried chilis and though it looks like fats but they are cartilages.
Traditional Bak Kut Teh

I'm not sure what its called but the cartilages are superb.
There was the Dry Bak Kut Teh which was my favorite, Its the mixture of ingredients that blends together so well it was irresistible to the core. Both the soup and the dry are delicious. Makes your tummy growl for more. The steam egg is not extraordinary but nevertheless is tasty.

I highly recommend this place where you can have both the soup and the dry bak kut teh. I am not able to quote prices as a kind soul treated us for our lovely lunch. How I wish I can experience this taste back in Penang. Don't miss it if you go to Klang!
