Tsunami Village Cafe, Tanjung Bungah, Penang

A walk down the beach is where you can find Tsunami Village Cafe. Before entering the beach area, you will be at the parking lot, then only will you reach the destination. My advice, call for reservations because walk-in customers will have to wait to get a table. The place is usually packed especially on weekends. Prices are reasonable and food is good and fresh. One of the important things when looking for seafood restaurants. Have a look at what my family had one night....

Ahh..thirst quencher! Great to go with my food.
All of us enjoyed this dish, we sort of take this like a starter and almost finishing all before we began on the other dishes. The kids love it too! You can eat the whole entire fish, except of anything part that might injure your throat.

Beansprouts
'Yao Mak'
Fried Rice - specially for the kids. It's nice, not too oily.
La La - small ones
Fried Squid
The Ang Sai Fish is the most expensive dish here but its the nicest. The soup is superb, its addictive but its a bit of spicy.
Ang Sai Fish
Nestum prawn
Yummy crab
Casual & Candid ! Nom Nom Nom...Yums!

Four Hours Body by Tim Ferriss

My food blog is a blog of lifestyle and experience and how my being response to the food and its place. And food has an impact on my body obviously, so I also like to share if there are healthy related books or site that might help us to enjoy life with food without putting on the unnecessary inches to our body or fats to our livers.

As much as I would like to eat and eat to my heart's desire, I still have fat alerts ringing in my mind when I overdo it. I do not have an exercise regime as I would hope for but I do try to stay active, walk a little farther, exercising while I'm bathing, taking some weights after a long practice at the piano. I want to gain more muscles and lessen the fats and it is not easy to find something that does not take up a lot of time. If you would like the same thing I do, first of all we have to ask the most simplest question:

How to get muscles? Get an idea and read further, to get that muscles you want. Ladies, most of us do not want to look like lady hulks so there are tips and guides to teach us a simple way.

Imagine gaining 34 lbs. of muscle in 4 weeks, Tim Ferriss no 1 NY Times bestselling author will take you through a journey of a healthier path. Like I have said before in my past post, we are responsible of taking care of our earthly body as best as we can. The rest I leave it to God. If you are interested to know more, do visit the links in this post.

ll Bacaro, Campbell House in Penang

Il Bacaro the in-house restaurant of Campbell House that serves Italian food.  Recommended by a friend, we decided to give it a try and as we were waiting for that friend to come join us, we did a little bit of creative photography mainly done by the long haired lady. I can't take credit for what's not mine.
Anyway, the friendly welcome and service by the owners, chef and waiters brought a warmth cosy atmosphere to the place. And although Nadya and Roberta owners of Il Bacaro had to go off, they made sure we were well attended to. They were friendly indeed.

Love the soup, as simply as that!

We were having sort of a snack cum lunch as we were quite full from breakfast. So here is pizza of the day that we had. I would have preferred more cheese like the one I tasted in another Italian restaurant but this is not all that bad. It does have a unique taste which I believe suits each individual differently. I will try another the next time I visit.

Pizza of The Day
I liked this dish very much especially when eating it with the sauce called Arrabiata. Fried Zucchinis and the tenderness of chicken was delightful.
Chicken Milanese w. Fried Zucchini, Aubergine, & Arrabiata Sauce - RM26
We were craving for dessert and the cookie was really good. t must be the butter, chocolate, egg all mixed up into this wonderful dessert and it can never go wrong with vanilla ice cream. My favourite combination.
Salame al Cioccolato & Vanilla Ice Cream - RM17
So nice of the chef to join us! Cheers!

Omega 3 Vitamins From Smarty Pants

Wisdom comes with age however memory deteriorates with age too. How do we prevent deterioration of our brain? Choosing the right brain food is important and many times the vitamins contained might not be sufficient, we need to turn to supplements. I may blog a lot about where all the tasty food are, but I am also concerned with healthy food for our body. What interests me is about this product called Smartypants, a catchy name indeed. They have brain vitamins for adults as well as kids and its content of omega 3 is essentially attractive.

Omega 3 fatty acids from fish as we know is known to help boost memory, fight mental disorders and depression. Dietary deficient of omega 3 fatty acids in their body may increase risk of attention deficit disorder, dementia, bipolar disorder and other mental related disorders. Smartypants delivers quality content where their fish oil comes from sardine and anchovy fish oil, saying that fish oil from smaller fish is much more eco-friendly and does not have other toxic contamination.

Find out more about omega 3 vitamins from SmartyPants vitamins. Its also nice that they made it in a form of gummies, who doesn't like that? Kids get the gummy and so does the adults, that sounds fair. Moreover, adults who does not like to swallow vitamin tablets would love this!

Pop Pop Popcorn!

Popcorn, a classic snack for cinema goers now comes in all sorts of flavors. Have you eaten coffee flavoured popcorn? Well, for me its definitely the first. My sister brought back from KL these 4 packets as you can see below for my nieces mainly but I was curious how it taste. My first impression of my first taste was just alright, no big deal but later as I took more of it, it became pretty addictive. The popular flavours are wasabi, cheese, coffee and seaweed. Can't wait to try the rest!

If you would like to know more, hop on to www.twplanetpop.com. It is priced at RM11.90 per packet. When you read about its quality control and the fact that it is not popped out from popcorn machines might pacify you about the price. :) Not to mention it provides you with information on the level of sweetness, salinity and spiciness. How cool is that!

She can't get enough it! :)
Check out their facebook page Planetpops FB page. There are online orders available too! Enjoy the pop pops! If you wanna get some, you need to go Kuala Lumpur and its sold in most of the popular shopping malls like Mid valley Megamall, Sunway Pyramid, I-City, Pavillion etc.
